Project by our mother company Zanghellini & Holt Associates - tasked with enhancing the restaurant's rustic-chic design from six years ago, ZHA team transformed the bar into a teppanyaki station and merged two teppanyaki rooms into a flexible space for larger parties. The challenge was to fit an ambitious program into a small footprint while maintaining privacy, uniqueness, and sophistication without becoming overly traditional. Rocksalt emerged as a cozy yet elegant space, where a central teppanyaki station anchors the design, and a seamless blend of materials creates a harmonious mix of zen and opulence.
